Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy informs you about the processing of personal data when using the career and future job opportunities platform nakotnesdarbs.lv (hereinafter – the Platform).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is SIA ERDA Group, registration No. 40103692668, legal address: Elizabetes iela 4-2, Riga, LV-1013, Latvia.

2. What information do we collect?
Providing personal data is necessary in order to create and maintain a user account on the Platform. If the user does not provide the required personal data (for example, an email address), use of the Platform’s services is not possible.
When using the Platform, we may process the following personal data:
2.1. Account data
- email address
- account creation date
- authentication information (for example, login links or technical identifiers)
2.2. Profile information
- first and last name
- level of education
- educational institution
- study programme
2.3. Career data
- career test results
- career interest data
Career test data is considered personal data, as it is linked to the user’s account. This data is not used to identify the user outside the Platform and is not disclosed to third parties.
We do not process special categories of personal data (such as data relating to health, political opinions, or religious beliefs).
3. For what purposes do we process personal data?
Personal data is processed in order to:
-ensure the basic functionality of the Platform and operation of the user account;
-store and display career test results in the user’s account;
-provide personalised career recommendations;
-display relevant job, education, or development opportunities;
-improve the Platform’s performance and user experience;
-ensure Platform security and prevent misuse;
-communicate with users regarding essential service-related matters (for example, technical information).
4. Legal basis for processing personal data
Personal data is processed on the basis of:
-the user’s consent, given when creating an account on the Platform and agreeing to this Privacy Policy;
the legitimate interests of the data controller, in order to ensure the secure, stable, and functional operation of the Platform.
The user may stop the processing of personal data at any time by deleting their account.
The user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent.
5. Data processors and data transfers
The purposes and means of personal data processing are determined by the Platform’s data controller – SIA ERDA Group.
The technical development, maintenance, and management of data processing solutions for the Platform are provided by the cooperation partner UAB Imum, which acts as a data processor and processes personal data only in accordance with the instructions of the data controller.
In order to ensure the operation of the Platform, UAB Imum uses sub-processors (such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and system monitoring service providers). Personal data is transferred to these service providers only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant service and is not used for any other purposes.
If personal data is transferred for processing outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are applied, including the European Commission’s approved Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention period
Personal data is stored:
-for as long as the user account is active;
-until the user deletes their account or requests deletion of personal data.
After account deletion, personal data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
Personal data may be retained in technical backup copies for a limited period (up to 90 days), after which it is automatically overwritten.
7. User rights
The user has the right to:
access their personal data;
rectify inaccurate personal data;
receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
restrict the processing of personal data in cases provided for by law;
request deletion of personal data;
lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia.

8. Use of cookies
Our website uses:

They are deleted when the browser is closed.

Career test results may be used for research and analysis only in anonymised form, by removing any link to the user’s account or identity, in order to:
improve career support tools;
analyse career choice trends in Latvia.
For research purposes, ERDA Group uses only anonymised or aggregated data. In this context, ERDA Group acts as the data controller.
11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy.
The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Platform and takes effect upon publication.
